Extending the brand to On Demand
Disney is one of the best recognised brands in the world.
The brand’s television success is helped by being
platform agnostic, distributed widely and the ubiquity of
its content.
On-line, mobile and on demand television platforms are
important new channels to show and sell Disney content.
Extending the visibility of the Disney brand throughout
these new channels was an important commercial
opportunity for the company.
We were asked to develop the branding and brand
hierarchy as well as create a new logo from the
universally recognised ‘Mickey ears’, ensuring it was
flexible enough to work across all platforms including on
and off-air, on-line and mobile. Finally, we produced
guidelines for internal and external third party use.
