Connecting the past and the present
The recent re-brand of AETN prompted the initiative to
reform the image of the History Channel and its new
counterpart channel, Military History. Often a subject
marred by the preconception of facts and figures, the
newly named channel, History, now reconnects the past
with the present and reminds us of its ongoing relevance
in everyday life. Using shadows, a tennis player
becomes a heroic gladiator, an intellectual becomes an
archaic cave man, demonstrating the tangibility of
history and its ability to entertain, inspire and educate.
