A bit of Sky for Everyone
News Corp’s newest free to air channel ‘Cielo’ needed
a brandidentity that captured the channel’s new
approach and content, balanced with its roots in classic
Italian culture. Our solution features a ‘moving sky’ logo,
which is captured inside the ‘Cielo’ logotype. This
creative visual metaphor underpins ‘a bit of Sky for
everyone’, bringing a snapshot from the satellite world
to the terrestrial viewer. This ‘moving sky’ logo is
featured in locations across Italy to reflect a truly Italian
channel, close to its audience in everyday life.

DTT is starting to change the Italian television
landscape. We decided early on that we wanted
to create a popular and compelling channel in
this new television environment.
We selected Dunning Penney Jones after a pitch
process and are delighted with the complete on
and off air package that they delivered to us. In
fact we are regularly complemented on
it, so the work speaks for itself.
